Evaluation provides important feedback on both the effectiveness and impact of the Caring for my Family program. The curriculum developers recommend that program managers evaluate both how the program is implemented and the impact it has on participants. A section on formative evaluation describes steps and strategies for assessing implementation of the program. A second section titled summative evaluation gives strategies for determining the impact of the program on participants.
